Let's have a look at the type of criteria a brand may set in order to find the best-matching content creators for their campaigns. These points may explain why you are able to only view certain campaigns in your store:
- Social network
In order to take part in brand campaigns, you have to connect one or several social networks to Hivency.
As of now, you can participate with following social networks:
Each campaign may contain publications for one or more specific social networks. Therefore, it is crucial that you double-check the required social networks when applying for a campaign.
Important: To be able to apply for a campaign on Instagram, it is mandatory to have an Instagram business or creator account.
2. Your audience size and views
A brand may pre-determine a minimum amount of followers or views (depending on the social network) when defining their campaign criteria. If a campaign doesn't appear in your Hivency-store, it's possible that your audience size is yet too small or that you don't have enough views.
3. Engagement rate
The engagement rate is a very important measure to determine the quality of a creator's community connection and to exclude fraud tactics, such as purchased likes and comments or fake followers. A healthy engagement rate tells us that the creator has a real, authentic relationship with his/her audience.
If your engagement rate is below 1%, you can't view any campaign in your store.
How to calculate your engagement rate:
Total number of Likes and comments / number of followers
Upon connecting your social media account with your Hivency account, you can automatically view your current engagement rate.
Some campaigns are only available in certain countries.
They may also be limited to specific regions or cities, as it's often the case for restaurants or events.
Your areas of interest are among the most important criteria, as they enable us to offer campaigns that match your profile and content. You can update your list of interests at any time and add up to 5 to your Hivency profile.
6. Your profile (gender and age)
Age and gender may also be pre-determined by the brand to match specific products or services with the right target audience.
- Geographic location of your followers
For certain brand campaigns, the geographical location of your audience may be crucial.
- Your followers' interests
Brands need to ensure that their promoted product or service matches the interests of their brand ambassadors' audiences.
- Your followers' gender
Brands often need to ensure that a sufficient amount of followers matches their intended target audience's gender.
8. Disrespecting our guidelines
Content creators that disrespect our terms and conditions, don't have access to campaigns in their Hivency store.
